How Viddya Ragotra Turned Her Lowest Point Into a Mission to Help Women Save Their Relationships

Viddya Ragotra did not begin her journey as a relationship coach. For years, she was simply a capable woman with a strong corporate background, working with names like Infosys and Tech Mahindra and building a life that many would call successful.

But life rarely stays neat for long.

After marriage, her world changed. She married an Army officer, which meant a life of frequent moves, remote postings and long stretches away from the kind of work she had once known. On paper, everything looked fine. She had a family, a comfortable life and a supportive husband. But inside, she was battling something she could not explain at first.

It was not one dramatic event. It was a quiet emptiness. A sense of losing herself. A feeling that something inside her was slowly slipping away.

At one point, the struggle became so heavy that she told her husband she wanted to leave. She felt she could not be happy in the relationship and could not seem to bring happiness into it either. His reply was calm and direct. He told her she was free to go, but she would need to stand on her own feet.

That moment did not break her. It made her stop and look inward.

Instead of blaming the relationship alone, she asked herself a harder question. If everything around me is okay, then why am I not okay inside?

That question changed the direction of her life.

With two small children by her side, she began learning everything she could. She studied psychology, neuroscience and spiritual texts. She explored more than 200 therapies and earned over 18 certifications. This was not just learning. It was her way of finding answers and solving what she was going through.

And slowly, things began to shift.

As she worked on herself, her marriage also began to change. She realized that the real problem had never been only the relationship. It was the internal state she was carrying into it. Once that shifted, her communication improved, her emotional responses became stable and her overall presence changed.

That personal transformation became the foundation for Parivvartan Transforming Lives, which she founded in 2011 in Pune.

What makes her work different today comes directly from what she experienced herself. She works primarily with one partner, most often the wife, and focuses on solving the relationship by creating an internal shift within that one person. Her belief is simple. Even if one person is willing to work deeply on themselves, the relationship can still be transformed.

Over time, this approach has helped women rebuild connection even when their partner was not ready to participate. She has worked with couples where communication had completely broken down, helping them break long periods of silence and reconnect.

Her work also extends to more complex situations. She has supported women in marriages where divorce proceedings had already started, even cases that had reached advanced stages. She has also worked through situations involving infidelity, where one partner was already planning to leave.

Her focus is not on giving advice. It is on solving the root problem through therapy and mindset coaching. As one person changes internally, it naturally reflects in their behavior, communication and decisions, which shifts the entire relationship dynamic.

Along with relationship transformation, she also helps women move forward in their careers, business and financial growth. Many of the women she works with are capable but feel stuck. Through her work, they gain clarity, confidence and direction without feeling like they have to choose between personal success and a stable relationship.

Over the years, she has helped more than 12,600 women philanthropically and worked closely with over 500 women professionally. Many came to her during divorce situations, infidelity, silent treatment or ongoing family conflicts. She did not just guide them. She helped them solve what they were going through.

On 8 March 2026, Viddya was featured in the book Highly Influential Women of 2026, a recognition that reflects how far her journey has come.

Today, her mission is bigger than marriage. She wants to help one million women transform their relationships without giving up their identity, their career or their peace of mind.

Because sometimes, the answer is not to leave. Sometimes, the answer is to create the right shift within yourself and change what you are experiencing.
